spring!
So, there have been a bunch of Cuban restaurants popping up all over the city and I have come to love Cuban food but especially the jibarito.
Pete and I were craving some good sandwiches, so we were heading down the the Brown Sack on Armitage, but to our despair, we discovered that it had been replaced by a Cuban joint. Loving Cuban anyway, we decided to give it a shot.

And it was awesome!

I highly recommend the Cuban nachos, they are like eating little jibaritos.

Plantain chips topped with meat of your choice, cheese, guacamole, tomatoes and sour cream! YUM!
I had the ropa vieja sandwich. Pete had the jibarito and it was all amazing!
Go try this place!
I was wondering when they were going to do something with this building! Nice to see it’s something awesome! Thanks iknowchicago for posting!
Getting Married Next Year?
You could be the FIRST couple to ever say, “I DO” in what will arguably be the hottest (and greenest) new venue in Chicago. The Greenhouse Loft is now taking bookings for November and beyond. The space will be inside the Green Exchange (opening this summer…Diversey + 90/94). Natural Light, Garden View, Hardwood Floors….oh so yummy. Be a trend setter!
